Women dressed in traditional regalia of their respective regions are the heart of this piece. The women represent Indigenous Peoples of the Pacific Islands and North American Tribal Nations far north in Alaska and southern here in New Mexico. Together, embracing a pregnant mother, they are called together in a peacefully protective moment.
