"Non-Traditional Family Portrait" by Cherille Willams

The college represents a non-traditional family portrait of my mother, brother, and me placed around a prayer fire. The central focus is on the nurse and boy connecting with a stethoscope placed on the heart. The statue is from Fort Defiance Hospital in Arizona, my late father's birthplace. The college was made to honor the familial bond and support that each member must protect.
